Drumawhey Junction Railway The railway captures the atmosphere of a full sized railway. There is a station, signal cabin, engine The line is the longest 71/4” gauge railway in Ireland.

Drumawhey Junction ~ a miniature railway operating steam, petrol hydraulic, diesel hydraulic and electric locomotives. The layout allows a variety of routes. An interesting journey of approx 12 minutes is provided.

Prospective Members who want to learn to help run the railway and become part of the Team of Volunteers at Drumawhey are invited to come along between 11am and 3pm this Saturday, 13th June 2026.

This is not a Family Day or Public Runningday, but is specifically aimed at recruiting people interested in Miniature Railways or Model Engineering.
