As our thank you to our visitors who access the Aerodrome responsibly, we have sponsored a further 2 benches for public use on the signposted route adjacent to the salt marshes. From these you can take a break and enjoy the wildlife, aeroplanes and sunshine!

Delighted to have hosted our guests who arrived in no less than 7 Vans RVs for lunch in the town. Dornoch was the northernmost visit of their tour of the UK.

🚁 Flying Notice 🚁

During the period of 15th-22nd May, 846 Naval Air Squadron (NAS) will be operating Merlin helicopters from RAF Lossiemouth.

They will be conducting live-fire training at Tain and low-flying exercises across the Highlands.

Dornoch Aerodrome was honoured to host the King’s Helicopter Flight escorting The Princess Royal. Arriving from Applecross and Aultbea, Her Royal Highness overnighted before visiting the Cathedral green to celebrate the town’s long history of volunteering among our many local organisations. Her AW139 then departed for Kishorn.
