4 on 4 off Shifts
Dayshift / Backshift / Nightshift
Shop deliveries
Changeovers
Distance
Shifts can vary week to week
no staying away for this these positions,

Although we have shifts available where staying out is part of the shifts as well,

Please specify whether you want to stay away on the trucks or not on your CV please

We are looking for drivers to work from Tayside / Central Belt and Carlisle / Penrith area

£650 salary less your tax and insurance

Approximately 16 months ago, a young lad came into our office wanting to follow his dream of being a lorry driver, we eventually took him on on 21/07/21, he washed trucks, he shunted trucks, he helped shift tyres, he cleaned out and fuelled up the fridge trailers and stuck in, he was trained on all our jobs before he had his licence and worked very hard, we paid for his LGV Tests, and he paid us back, just over one year later, he is taking his (and our) first truck to show at Truckfest, he inherited a truck that had done over 300000kms and had never had the outside polished!! Today after all his hard work most of the office staff were out taking pictures and wishing him luck along the way! As pointed out to me today, he was the first AAD yard apprentice to driver and what he has achieved with his work ethic and his pride in doing the job properly, we are extremely proud of him and hope he has a great time at Truckfest, The truck is a credit to you Lewis Single! Well done from all at AAD Transport, good luck 👍
