Classic Wings are based at Imperial War Museum, Duxford.We offer truly memorable flilghts in our fleet of vintage aircraft, which include genuine Tiger Moths, 1930's Dragon Rapides & T6 Harvards We restore and maintain our own aircraft with dedicated attention to detail and our Pilots are some of the most experienced in the country. We pride ourselves in offering a more personal service to our customers.

Fly High in Duxfords Historic Skies.

Hawker Hurricane G-HURI had its first outing in partnership with Duxford based Classic Wings on Sunday, where Ken Lamb captured this superb photograph from a de Havilland Dragon Rapide as part of their ‘Wing to Wing’ Experience.

With Christmas fast approaching, the gift of Flight is one of the most incredible things you can give, and Classic Wings have something for everyone. Historic types such as de Havilland Tiger Moth & Rapide, North American Harvard and Supermarine Spitfire experiences too.

The end of an era. This week marked the final Rapide flight for much loved and respected pilot, Captain Jan Angerman. As a single pilot commercial aircraft pilots have to hang up their headsets at the age of 60 and this week was a milestone birthday for Jan. Jan has flown for Classic Wings since the 90s and has been a mentor to many.
While his time in the Rapide is over we hope he will still be a familiar face around the operation in other aircraft.
Thank you for everything Jan, you’re a legend!

What an incredible weekend of flying with the focus on Spitfires. Friday and Saturday we were operating the T9 for passenger flights. On Sunday we had the absolute pleasure of having MK912 (lilhamaviation) for our Wing To Wing formation flights. We want to thank everyone that flew with us over the weekend and hope you had an amazing experience.

We are delighted to be working with Flyer watches and their fantastic charity, Helping Dreams Take Flight.
The charity supports people who would love to fly, but don’t necessarily have the means to do so, by way of scholarships.
Today Rebecca embarked on her first scholarship flight with instructor Paul and thoroughly enjoyed it. We wish Rebecca the best of luck with her training.
