Day 4….At Sea….somewhere in the Aegean Sea from Paros we passed into Ionian Sea on the to Corfu!
And the perfect time to introduce my favourite places on the beautiful EXPLORA II.
The Emporium Marketplace restaurant….whatever your mood, you will find a cuisine that screams yum at even the grumpiest of restaurant critics!
This in the olden days of cruise would be the ‘buffet’ option…But this is WAY better than that! Everything fresh, cooked to order and served to you, ensuring a comfortable experience for anyone concerned they could be oversharing with fellow passengers.
This is an EXPLORA experience!
The Astern lounge, a great place to meet up with mates . Outside is one of several pool areas, inside is a bar area and pool table.
We joined several talks on the ports we were visiting. They were given by a lovely lady Nafsika, who was very knowledgeable on the destinations, not just points of interest but also the history and surrounding areas.

The lobby on deck 4… this is where you will find many of the resident musicians, and included our favourite guitar vocalist, Tomas. This guy is superb… his diversity and range is fabulous. He took my request for a Bon Jovi song and knocked it out the park!!
Always room for an art galley!
All day afternoon tea!! There is also afternoon tea in the Journeys lounge at 4pm! There really is no shortage of epic eats!
Of course there’s a spa!! Not that I had a chance to spend anytime here l, but I’ve heard good things! And yes this may be a photo of rolled towels, but I’m not going to harass anyone in a place of relaxation and calm!
