I love Italy. However having never visited Sicily it was an absolute pleasure spending time with friends and colleagues in this wonderful region. The trip was hosted by the amazing Marta Buscemi from Mangia’s. We stayed at the brand new Costa Ragusa and more established Mangia Brucoli.

Mount Etna dominates the skyline on the east of Italys largest island. The UNESCO protected Siracusa is well worth an afternoon as is lunch at the renowned Gambino winery.

As ever in Italy we experienced amazing food, excellent service and would thoroughly recommend visiting this area.

I love visiting and booking trips to the Indian Ocean. I know Mauritius and Maldives well but haven’t had the pleasure of visiting The Seychelles. Now I have and WOW. The beauty of this wonderful country. There are accommodation options for all budgets. You can, and should hop between the islands to maximise your experience. The option for authentic, rustic properties before a more luxurious treat is one I would recommend. Conservation and wildlife is high on the agenda here. Water based activities are outstanding but plenty of fantastic things to do on dry land including some varied, often challenging treks. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Short break destination alert!!!

I had the pleasure of spending last week in Vilnius 🇱🇹. What a treat. Great city. Superb value, very clean, full of history, safe, hospitable, not packed with tourists and a joy to be in. A little limited on direct flights from the UK but is served from Luton and London City. Would like to go back and visit one of four Michelin star restaurants which don’t have silly waiting lists or even a road trip up through Latvia and Estonia.

Thank you again BC. Epic trip to this amazing part of the world. I love 🇨🇦 and despite some inclement weather so much to do in the cities and even more in the mountains. From ‘soccer’ to Caesars, from stunning drives to world class mountain biking. From old friends to new friends, Vancouver and Whistler already looking forward to the next time.

Thank you Cervinia for another great few days. Sunshine, powder, whiteouts and fun. For me the mountains are a great head cleanser and to switch off for a few days in the hills is so positive for all round wellbeing. A wonderful Italian resort linked perfectly to Zermatt, when it’s not blowing a hooley.
