✈️ Bucket List Edition ✨

There’s something powerful about having a destination that lives in your mind long before you ever step on the plane.

For so many of us, travel stays in the “one day” category.

Life gets busy. Work takes over. Money feels tight. Confidence disappears. Planning feels overwhelming.

Before we know it, years pass by while our dream destinations remain screenshots in our camera roll instead of memories in our lives.

That's exactly why we created this Bucket List edition of our mini mag.

Inside you'll find inspiration for:
✨ Luxury escapes
🏔️ Adventure travel
🦁 Safari experiences
🏛️ Cultural discoveries
🧭 Expedition journeys
💫 Hand-picked offers

Whether your dream is seeing the Northern Lights, heading out on safari, exploring ancient cities, or simply finding inspiration for your next adventure, we hope this edition sparks a few ideas.

📖 Take a look and let us know which destination is on your bucket list.

👇 Drop it in the comments — we'd love to know.

10 miles. Sunshine. Wildlife. And one very convenient pub stop 🐾☀️

We've been slowly working our way along the canal network from Nuneaton over the last few months, seeing just how far we can get in each direction.

One way has taken us as far as the Coventry Building Society Arena. The other has taken us beyond Fazeley Junction and further into the Warwickshire countryside.

On Sunday, we added another 10 miles to the total.

One thing that always makes us laugh is that we already have the canal at the bottom of our garden. We see ducklings, cygnets, goslings and moorhen chicks all the time.....yet somehow we still get ridiculously excited every time we spot more while we're out walking 😆

Yesterday we passed four families in a row.

One proud mum was leading 12 ducklings through the water, and we also spotted a tiny gosling that looked as though it had only just hatched. It was still finding its feet, bumbling around and trying to work out how the world worked. Absolutely adorable 🥹🐣

Of course, after 7 or 8 miles, Lewis looked exhausted.....which obviously meant we had no choice but to stop at The Tame Otter in Hopwas on the way home 😇🐾

A lovely dog-friendly pub, a great atmosphere, and a surprisingly good snack menu even on a Sunday.

Sometimes the best adventures really are the local ones 🧡

50km. One day. One cause 🧡

At Little & Great Adventures, we're usually talking about journeys.

This August, one of ours will look a little different.

On 1st August, I'll be walking 50km in a single day to raise money for the MS Society.

MS is a condition that affects over 150,000 people in the UK and can have a huge impact on everyday life. The charity provides support, information and funds vital research into treatments and, one day, a cure.

If you'd like to support the challenge, I'd be incredibly grateful.

MAY | moments ✨️

The month that brought a little bit of everything.

A month of first trips back in Miss Daisy, adventures with Dad, unexpected wildlife on our canal, travel industry inspiration, football memories for Luke, and a few little moments in between.

Not everything...
.. just enough to remember May by 🧡

Well this definitely wasn't on the bingo card today 😆⚽️

A spontaneous invitation to Leicester City's 5000/1 anniversary match was exciting enough...

Then this happened.

I think it's fair to say there are a few Leicester fans who would love this photo 📸

For Luke, this is someone who is one of his all-time heroes and notoriously difficult to get a selfie with, which makes this moment even more special.

Not bad for someone who "doesn't do spontaneous." 🤣

Not jealous at all! (.... of course I am!) 😆

One half of LGA is spending the afternoon at Leicester City's 5000/1 anniversary match at the King Power Stadium.

Apparently "I don't do spontaneous" lasts right up until an invitation like this lands in your inbox... 😏⚽

🥂 One of our favourite Budapest memories wasn't on land...

It was floating down the Danube with a glass of wine in hand, watching the city light up around us ✨

After spending the day exploring Pest on foot, this felt like the perfect way to slow down.

Just good food, live music, great company, and Budapest putting on a show all around us.

The Parliament building looked incredible illuminated at night, and every time we passed another bridge we seemed to pick a new favourite.

The food was lovely, beautifully presented and served by a friendly and professional team on board.

The live music added so much to the atmosphere too. We found ourselves singing along, chatting, laughing, and simply enjoying the moment while the city drifted past.

The cruise lasted a decent amount of time, never felt rushed, and offered excellent value for money in our eyes.

What made it even more special for us was knowing we'd booked it through our own travel business.

Not only did we save money on the experience, we'll also receive commission on the booking — one of those little reminders of why we love what we do.

If you're planning a trip to Budapest and fancy adding this to your itinerary, you'll find our Viator platform in the links under our bio.

And don't forget to ask if we have a current discount code available before you book — we'd hate for you to miss out on a saving. 🧡

Have you ever done a dinner cruise anywhere in the world?

If so, where would you recommend? ✨

Sometimes the value of a travel agent isn’t fully understood… until something goes wrong ✈️🧡

Booking online is brilliant when everything runs smoothly.

A few clicks.
A confirmation email.
Holiday booked ✨

But travel doesn’t always go to plan.

✈️ Flights get delayed.
✈️ Connections get missed.
✈️ Weather changes things.
✈️ Strikes happen.

And suddenly what started as excitement becomes stress.

That’s the moment having a real person matters.

Not a chatbot.
Not an endless help page.
Not being number 472 in a queue.

A real human who already knows your booking.

💁‍♀️ Someone who can contact suppliers.
💁‍♀️ Someone who can help find solutions.
💁‍♀️ Someone who cares that you get where you need to be, safely.

That’s one of the biggest reasons we do what we do at Little & Great Adventures 🌍

Yes, we love the exciting side of travel — the bucket-list moments, luxury hotels, hidden gems and unforgettable adventures…

…but we also care about the behind the scenes part too.

The reassurance.
The support.
The “don’t worry, we’ll sort it” moments.

Because sometimes the best part of using a travel agent isn’t when everything goes perfectly…

…it’s knowing someone’s there when it doesn’t.
