⚠️ Ryanair passengers at Manchester Airport: change from 21 October​

Ryanair passengers flying from Manchester Airport will see a small change to their journey as work continues to improve Terminal 3.​

From 21 October, passengers will no longer use the usual Terminal 3 entrance. Instead, they should head to Terminal 1 Departures A, where they will check in and pass through the new security lanes. ​

Once through security, passengers will follow a clearly signed route into Terminal 3’s departure lounge, where all existing shops and food outlets remain open.​

This arrangement will stay in place until Terminal 1 closes, at which point the entrance will be renamed and permanently become the entrance to Terminal 3. Clear signage will be in place, and our airport colleagues will be on hand to assist passengers. ​

The arrivals route remains unchanged. All Ryanair passengers returning to Manchester will continue to arrive at Terminal 3​

“Minibus drop off & pickup

With Effect From 1/6/24 your increase in pickup and drop off fees to £20 (or £35 if not done online in advance) are an absolute disgrace and are nothing short of scandalous. I run a 16 passenger minibus (these have 17 seats)… I’m explaining this as you don’t seem to understand the concept that minibuses typically carry up to 16 passengers (a full bus/coach license is required to drive vehicles above this capacity). You quote “Minibuses that are below 16 seats…” and “large minibuses over 16 seats”.
By this extortionate increase in charges you are effectively penalising older / infirm / disabled passengers who cannot walk a greater distance without discomfort … but then you probably don’t care ? Also you are penalising families with young children / buggies / luggage. Do you consider any of this when you dream up your latest scheme to rip off the general public.
When you advertise flights for £23 or however cheap they are can you put alongside “but prepare to be charged more for dropoff & again for pickup”.
Since you put a height barrier on the short stay / pickup & dropoff car park when it was working fine you have forced minibuses (9-16 passenger vehicles) to use wherever is available. Unlike your company, Minibus Operators consider the needs of their passengers (& your customers) when looking to pick up & drop off.
Within the last week I’ve been able to drop off at Heathrow (no charge due to class of vehicle) and I can drop off at Manchester Airport for £3. (£3.60 to pick up for half an hour).
Who the hell do Liverpool Airport think they are?
Absolute disgrace.

It's been a busy few days! Friday I was at the brilliant Ocean Treasure in Manchester, last night I was with the wonderful people at Ellesmere Port Labour Club and today I'm set up ready to meet some lovely couples at the beautiful The Woodcote Hotel and 610 Bar & Grill Wedding Fayre 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
