How do you balance front-line speed with lab-grade forensic confidence?
Traditionally, border security had to choose between rapid checkpoint screening and detailed lab examination. The VSC Forefront bridges that gap.
Sitting directly between the front line and the laboratory, this rugged, deployable platform brings advanced forensic tools right to the point of interception:

🔬 Multispectral Inspection for advanced document analysis.
🔐 Forensic Chip Interrogation to verify secure electronic data.
👤 Biometric Facial Comparison for automated identity verification.
With the VSC Forefront, operations can now deploy lab-level validation to catch sophisticated fraud that standard screening tools miss.

Stop compromising on security. Bring the lab to the front line.

🚨 Introducing VSC ForeFront®

We’re proud to officially launch the latest addition to the VSC range a rugged, field-ready platform designed to bring forensic-level identity authentication directly to frontline and second-line operations.

As document fraud becomes increasingly sophisticated, VSC ForeFront® combines three critical layers of authentication into one operational system:
✔️ Physical document inspection
✔️ Advanced e-Chip interrogation
✔️ Biometric facial matching
Designed for border control, immigration, law enforcement, and mobile enforcement environments, VSC ForeFront® helps operators make faster, higher-confidence decisions wherever document authenticity is challenged.

By bridging the gap between frontline screening and forensic laboratory examination, VSC ForeFront® delivers powerful identity assurance in a deployable, operational format.

There is nothing of value here...

It’s a phrase that can make or break an investigation.
In this video, our exhibit has been treated with superglue—and to the naked eye, it looks completely blank. It would be incredibly easy to dismiss this item and move on.

But when we slide it under the foster+freeman DCS 6 workstation using its RUVIS capabilities, the story changes. Clear, identifiable ridge detail appears instantly on the monitor.

It’s a stark reminder that in forensics, what we see depends entirely on how we look at it. The DCS 6 and RUVIS ensures you are never looking in the dark.

We’re proud to announce the upcoming launch of ContraSCAN, a groundbreaking handheld device designed to detect dangerous synthetic drugs such as “Spice” in real time.

Developed through an exclusive licensing agreement with the University of Bath, ContraSCAN represents a major step forward in tackling the growing challenge of synthetic cannabinoids entering prisons and other secure environments. These substances are often concealed in everyday items such as paper, clothing, and legal mail, making them extremely difficult to detect with conventional screening methods.

ContraSCAN provides rapid, on-site detection, enabling prison services, law enforcement, and security teams to identify threats quickly and take immediate action. By delivering fast, reliable results without the need for complex laboratory testing, the technology has the potential to significantly improve safety for both staff and inmates.
