Execargo was set up by because we feel passionately about our planet and our community. To help with the climate emergency we face, and to support local businesses and community groups , we ran a crowdfunder to purchase a shared climate friendly eCargo bike. There was so much support for the idea that we have now purchased TWO e-cargo bikes! We hope to be part of a bright future
for independent shops in Exmouth and foster close relationships with all local business and community groups, so if you'd like to know more please get in touch. ExeCargo is now a pilot scheme across the whole of East Devon - EDDC are watching closely to see how we develop , with a view to rolling out similar projects across the district. The ExeCargo pilot was set up with funding from the Transition Bounce Forward Fund, National Lottery and Exmouth Town Council. Over 70 individuals , businesses and groups contributed to the crowdfunder , attracting funding from Devon County Council , a grant from Exmouth Town Council and the promise of a storage and charging unit from East Devon District Council .
