🚚 In Aug, Anglia Freight hit the road with 50 vehicles, blazing trails to deliver goods all over the UK and Europe, with Greece being the furthest destination.

🚛 Driver recruitment is about so much more than finding someone to fill a seat.

At Anglia Freight, our mission is to invest, grow and develop our own drivers, giving local people the opportunity to build a long-term career in logistics.

Behind every newly qualified Class 2 Driver is a huge amount of time, care and commitment from across the business. In one year, it can take around 250 applications to finally get 8 drivers through the full process, with one person in our HR team dedicating approximately a third of their working schedule to running the scheme.

That support includes a thorough 20-step process, organising everything needed to help each person work towards passing their test, and making sure they are guided every step of the way.

From application to qualification, and beyond, each person is walked through the process with someone by their side, helping them understand the role, the standards and what it means to become part of the Anglia Freight team.

We are always looking for local people with a clean car licence, a sense of ambition and a willingness to work hard, and we welcome them into a growing family business where they can be supported, encouraged and developed.
