Falmouth Harbour is recruiting a Non-Executive Director to help guide the strategic direction of one of the world's finest natural harbours.

As the UK's Atlantic Gateway and a Trust Port responsible for 62 square miles of harbour waters, we play a critical role in supporting marine safety, commercial shipping, leisure activity, economic prosperity and environmental stewardship.
We're seeking an individual with a strong and demonstrable connection to Cornwall and Falmouth Harbour who can bring local insight, independent judgement and a commitment to serving the interests of our stakeholders and community.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation at a pivotal time, as we deliver our Marine Development Masterplan and continue our ambition to become a leading sustainable harbour.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing Mor Nature to life – a fantastic milestone for marine nature recovery in Cornwall.

Falmouth Harbour is proud to be a delivery partner in this ambitious project, helping to restore seagrass meadows and native oyster populations while demonstrating how working harbours and nature can thrive together.

This collaboration is a great example of what can be achieved when charities, local authorities, researchers, landowners and harbour authorities work towards a shared vision. We look forward to supporting the restoration work over the coming years and to seeing the benefits for biodiversity, water quality, climate resilience and our local communities.
