⛵ We are delighted to award a £29,700 grant to Turn to Starboard, a charity that delivers unique support to veterans through marine sailing activities.

Our grant will help former soldiers like Jim, who has received training and took part in a 4-week sailing challenge from Falmouth to London.

We are excited to share with you our new initiative, the Turn to Starboard Skipper Scholarship Scheme. We are inviting applications from all areas of the Veteran Community and would ask you to share this post in order that we can extend our reach as far as possible. Applicants must be Veterans and must have good availability each month between April and September of this year. What an awesome idea and a really thoughtful way to give thanks to our NHS.

Everyone has the opportunity to share their thoughts with NHS nurses when they're onboard the yachts.

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of having Project ARGO - Sailing Britain's NHS Ambassador, British athlete, rowing champion and double Olympic gold medalist James Cracknell on board yacht September, together with critical care nurses from The Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Project ARGO - Sailing Britain's NHS is a fantastic fundraiser to support our NHS and help them 'decompress' post-Covid.
