Wild Voices | Stories from the Modern Explorer

A South West gathering bringing together leading experts, local explorers, conservationists and storytellers to share experiences from the worlds of exploration, adventure, science, nature, TV, film and documentary.

From award-winning professionals to emerging voices building their careers, Wild Voices creates a space for storytelling, connection and collaboration, celebrating those documenting, protecting and exploring our planet.

Our community includes:

But Wild Voices is more than a talk series.

Wild Voices Talks | inspiring stories and conversations from the people who have explored, adventured, filmed, researched and protected our natural world.

Wild Voices Industry Network | a space for professionals across television, film, documentary, adventure and conservation to connect, collaborate and build relationships.

Wild Voices Annual Celebration | a yearly gathering bringing the community together to celebrate the stories, achievements and people shaping modern exploration.

"Is there an RGS group in the South West because this feels like that version of it." —
Wild Voices is our answer, a place to gather, share knowledge, build connections and celebrate the stories that inspire us to understand the world around us.

Find clarity away from the noise.

Welcome to Tiny Gatherings — coaching, mentoring and creative strategy for founders, creatives and purpose-led people ready to turn ideas into action.

Through 1:1 coaching and walking mentoring, we create space for clearer thinking, fresh perspectives and meaningful progress.

Whether you’re launching something new, feeling stuck, or shaping your next chapter, let’s explore what’s possible.

Sometimes clarity comes around a table, and sometimes it comes with walking boots on. 🌿

Whether we meet for regular coaching sessions in a chosen space or head outdoors for a walking mentoring session, we create space to think, explore ideas and move forward.

Walking sessions have supported people like who used time in nature to prepare for her first Kendal Mountain Festival talk and share the beginnings of what has become a beautiful cycling journey brand.

What my clients say

'Lots of people (myself included) benefit from being able to talk their plans and dreams through with someone who is not family or friends. It helps create a structure for how things can be achieved. It is incredibly useful. It's not about giving ideas always, but allowing someone to voice their own.' - Roseland Counselling.

Please bear with us! I’m currently in the depths as founder, making some exciting plans behind the scenes with Tiny Gatherings.

While I’m not posting as much right now, I’m busy setting up a regular series of community events in select Cornwall venues, as well as developing our upcoming expedition film ready for premiere and potential tours in 2026.

There is so much in the works for the future thank you for staying with our community while I build what’s next.

Although this is a smaller boat than the beautiful Salford we get to experience for our film evening in Norfolk this June.

There was something special about being on this calm marsh. The entire team are incredibly skilled and so kind.

The opportunity to watch film on the water. Cosy with a blanket, a hot drink and a slice of locally produced cake is not just an evening activity it's an evening to switch off and connect.

Setting foot on the island of Comino early was intentional. It felt like stepping back in time into the stories my parents used to tell me about their first visits. Fewer people, more wildlife. Quiet. Still.
A chance to see the other side of the famous Blue Lagoon’s crystal waters and to visit Santa Maria Beach, named after my mum. After losing my nana last May, and now my aunty, it felt even more meaningful to swim in these waters my heritage waters carrying her name. But also a chance to celebrate.

Somewhere during this expedition, locals started talking about the simplicity of life. The “simple life.” I’ve always wondered what that really feels like… and for a few weeks, I think I finally understood it.

More than anything, I understood why I’m always drawn back to the sea. As an islander, my ancestors arrived here by boat. Water has always been home.

Now I get to share these little corners of Gozo with others sometimes too slow days, quiet swims, the kind of moments that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time and as always payment plans with Klarna are available.

That Low Lying Glow of the Sun ...

If you are subscribed to the newsletter you would have received an exclusive section from the Book.

I've been planning, curating, ticking off many lists.

And taking a moment to look back at the journey of the expedition walking our three islands in Malta is an essential reminder.

When I first arrived back I struggled to step into the rhythm of society and now I'm back I've realised I nearly forgot the feeling of the only detail I need to think about is getting safely to my days end destination.

February is soon arriving and this reminds me to get back outside for more walks. January has been one storm after another but there have been moments of heavenly crisp air and blue sky where you can feel the sun on your face.

I could close my eyes and picture this warm sunrise glow looking back at the ancient silent city of Mdina and Rabat. A wish of mine was to visit out of hours when the light and the area is at its most precious. I was so focused on walking that day and finishing my entire expedition I missed roaming those ancient streets at sunrise. I will return I promise and I will roam to my hearts content at sunrise again, with the sounds of the birds and cobbled streets and a thousand stories around each corner.

I spent my very last day of 2025 in a beautiful Cornish village.

Sun shining. Blue skies. The best company.

One of those days you quietly file away as this is enough.

And now here we are 2026.

I’m easing back into the rhythm. Back into Tiny Gatherings.

This year brings two June trips, welcoming you to Cornwall and Norfolk, and a very special extended gathering in Gozo at the end of September. Right now is the perfect time to book travel is at its cheapest, and I’m already so grateful to have received bookings for Norfolk before Christmas, meaning places are now limited.

There’s something powerful about having something to look forward to in the new year. I do it for myself it’s my way of giving back, especially when we all work so hard.

2026 is also the year my film team member and I submit our short film. I’m excited to return to painting, and to curate an exhibition in the future inspired by sections of this 130-mile journey.
I also pick up my writing and continue the journey of the beautiful book based on last year's expedition.

Here’s to the excitement of what’s ahead.

To connection, community, and the feeling of family we’ve built here.

The only way this continues is through you sharing these experiences, spreading the word. And honestly… who wouldn’t want a short week in Malta for £ only 630pp?

One of the greatest compliments last year was hearing how warmly you still speak about past gatherings and how easy the booking process felt. That means everything.

I can’t wait to welcome you 🤍
