Engineered for Every Ocean
From the glaciers of Alaska to the lagoons of French Polynesia, the Galápagos Islands and the Mediterranean, Catalina has spent the years since leaving Pendennis in 2018 doing what she was built for: exploring the world.
To prepare her for unrestricted global cruising, Pendennis carried out a comprehensive refit, including a new teak deck, upgraded hydraulic systems, major technical enhancements and countless refinements throughout the yacht.
As Catalina's Captain explains: "We came to Pendennis initially for their extensive hydraulic expertise. Now, they know the boat inside out. When you've got that history and knowledge, it makes a huge difference. You can pick up the phone and get help from people who understand the yacht. It's reassuring to know we have this support wherever we are in the world."
More than 120,000 nautical miles and 26 countries later, Catalina continues to demonstrate the lasting value of expert refit, preventative maintenance and ongoing technical support. With continued support from our teams in Falmouth and Pendennis Vilanova, she continues to perform at the highest level, wherever her adventures take her.
As Catalina marks 10 years with her current owner, she stands as proof that a yacht can be far more than a luxury asset – it can be a gateway to the world. After travelling the equivalent of four circumnavigations of the globe, with countless adventures forged along the way, the past decade has exceeded every expectation.
