BIG FISH & A PROPOSAL
Be careful on what you promise your better half when your're on Anglo. Simon a good customer of ours brought down his better half of 32 years and promised her if she saw a whale then he would marry her at last 😅 well within a hour of tuna fishing yesterday we saw 2 minki 🐋 so I better get my suit ready 😉 on to the fishing 🎣 yesterday was a bust with the tuna but a great day with plenty of wildlife and a BBQ.
Today was sharking with plenty of small fish around then suddenly a beast turns up, estimated to be around 180lb of solid male fish, one of our top 3 fish on Anglo. What better way of finishing a great weekend on the water.

Shark, shark, shark.
The last 3 days has seen us sharking in some nautical weather conditions but Anglo handled it well with the aid of the seakeeper.
Tuesday a bunch of individuals landing 15 fish and yesterday and today a group of 4 with 16 & 12, today with the best going 100lb +, a few swam off with a nice shiny tag for their efforts 😅 a rest from the sharks next few days then back on them next week.

What a last day and a half. Yesterday 4 older gentlemen came aboard for a go at the tuna 😀 with 3 lost at the boat and 3 landed they felt a bit knackered when they left 🤣
This morning it was a quick smash and grab tuna trip for a mates' Mrs, gear only in the water for a minute and fish on. Jen didn't take long in taming a 180lb fish, next it was Jon's go, after a blind strike and a 30 min fight it came off at the boat side, that's fishing.🫣😀
A couple if days alongside now due to weather.

When the East winds blow that usually means a day off for the skipper 🤣🤣 not today, plenty of jobs to catch up on seeing as we've been full on.
Anglo has had a bit of pamper with a bottom scrub and service and starlink fitted ( skipper use only), a couple more jobs tomorrow then back on it Wednesday.
Time for a pint I think 🤔

The last 4 days we have had the Scottish contingent of the shore and boat species FB competition. They fished 3 days on Anglo and a day hunting mini species up and down the county. First day was sharking, didn't take long with five fish alongside then inshore for other species.
On their day off from Anglo we had an individual shark trip which we landed 11 to the boat.
Back to the lads from north of the border yesterday was at anchor for huss and conger which mostly were successfully, then the highlight was today for john dory and tope, 5 Anglers 5 JDs, but sorry to say only 2 tope but a great day.
Safe journey back to jock land see you next year lads.

Ok bruv, cushty, that all I've been hearing the last 2 days from the chavs from Kent 🤣🤣 great 2 days fishing with 21 sharks 🦈 yesterday and managed to get a tuna to stay on the hook today.
2 days of laughs and micky taking with a few fish thrown in, see you next year bruv.
