Energy Freight was established in 2006, by former colleagues Ian Connell and Simon Watts. Together they combined their wealth of knowledge and experience to start up Energy Freight Forwarding. Energy Freight began with a small team and rapidly expanded, including larger offices two miles from the Port of Felixstowe, and the opening of an office in Nottingham in 2012. Our main principle has always

been to deliver a cost effective solution in all areas of the freight forwarding industry to all of our customers with our main focus on giving a personal service to each and every customer no matter how big or how small. We pride ourselves on providing the personal “hands on” service that some of our multinational competitors are not able to. As part of our commitment to customer service, both the Felixstowe and Nottingham offices are proud to uphold the concept that all staff are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In response to the current COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, Energy Freight has had no choice but to implement a contingency plan.
As to follow the government guidelines of only necessary travel, we have arranged to have only 1 member of staff in the Felixstowe and Nottingham office at all times.
All other staff are able to work from home, and will be fully functional and contactable via email and mobiles. We will do our utmost to continue to provide the same level of customer service, however there may be a slight delay in response time.
We would like to thank you for your continued custom and support during this difficult time.
