If you're a Jane Austen fan but haven't been able to get to Bath this year you'll likely have missed the Portrait of Jane Austen exhibition currently being held at The Holburne Museum in Bath.

If so (and even if you have had a chance to visit) why not join the free 'Picturing Jane Austen' Zoom talk (Fri Sept 16 @ 7pm UK time) being presented by Professor Kathryn Sutherland to find out more about the image itself and the wider perceived images of Jane Austen.

Happy 100th Stonehenge!

It may be have been constructed several thousand years ago but 2018 sees Stonehenge celebrate a centenary since the site was gifted to the nation - find out more about this fab present and the work undertaken to preserve it and make it one of the worlds best known monuments!

Relax: we don't bite here in Somerset anymore! Enjoy a day trip from Bath through the delights of Somerset taking in a route through Cheddar Gorge (home to Gough Cave and it's seemingly rather hungry inhabitants), Wells, Glastonbury and Nunney - any nibbling these days is likely to be restricted to cheese you may pick up en-route (unless we're feeling particularly peckish... ;-)
