We’re excited to announce that Eastern Air Executive Sturgate Airport proudly presents Wings & Wheels at Airfield, with the support of Lincoln Aero Club - Sturgate and The Cosy Cockpit!

📅 Saturday 12th September
📍 Sturgate Airfield
⏱️10am - 5pm

Whether you’re into cars, bikes or planes, there’ll be plenty to see and a great atmosphere to enjoy.

✈️ Aircraft & visiting pilots – fly-ins welcome!
🚗 Classic, modern & performance cars
🏍️ Bikes – all bikes welcome
🍔 Great food from The Cosy Cockpit
☕ Hot & cold drinks
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A great day out for everyone

💚 FREE ENTRY – but we need your help!

We’re using the event to raise funds towards a defibrillator to be located at Sturgate Airfield, available to support both the airfield and our local community.

There is no set entry charge, but we would be incredibly grateful if everyone attending could make a donation, no matter how big or small.

Your generosity really could help save a life.

So bring the car, bring the bike, fly in if you can, or simply come along for the day, grab some food and enjoy everything Sturgate has to offer!

Please share this post, tag your friends and help us spread the word. The more people we can get behind the event, the closer we can get to funding this potentially lifesaving piece of equipment.

ATTENTION. !!

Apologises to all our lovely customers but due to unforeseen circumstances the cosy cockpit will be closed on Sunday 9th August.

When we opened in Early May this year we did not expect the amount of customers that have visited The Cosy Cockpit and enjoyed our food.
We have stated the kitchen area needs to be twice the size it is and more staff to serve.
This will be happening in the next few months.
We cannot add more staff to cook our lovely food due to a space issue in this area at the moment.
I still believe and will continue to believe that what we serve is good quality.
Yes we love all the positive reviews it makes us feel proud of what we have achieved in such a short time and how very very hard the staff work.
When we see some negative reviews I feel we have to respond.
“Wait time 1hour for food”
You obviously arrived at a very very busy time.I presume when you arrived the seating areas were Very busy and as I have stated we realise this and will be making alterations
“I Have been twice and both times my orders have been wrong “
I’m sure the staff corrected this or perhaps you said “It doesn’t matter it will be fine “
Yes we have made mistakes Yes we didn’t realise how popular the cafe would be.
YES we will be making alterations.
