Ryedale Society of Model Engineers Limited - RSMEL The Ryedale Society of Model Engineers Limited (RSMEL) is a group of like-minded model railway engineers of wide ranging ages and experience.

Members come from all over the country.

On the morning of Friday 28th August, members of RSME will start to set up the railway for our last big event of the year. Our 3 day mainline Rally. Lots of locomotives from every region will turn up, as well as coaches and wagons. Make sure the dates are on your calendar now so you don’t miss what is most probably the best 5inch gauge ground level railway event of the year.

The first two arrivals for our `Gresley 150 event tomorrow. A4 No. 60024 Kingfisher and A3 No. 60091 Captain Cuttle together at Gilling. It doesn’t get much better than this plenty of action tomorrow from 8:30am. More A4’s and A3’s will be turning up, on the day.
