HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER – VACANCIES!

At P&C Hamilton, we currently have Vacancies for HGV Class 1 Drivers based out of our Girvan Depot or Kilsyth Yard

To become part of the P&C Hamilton Team, we need our Drivers to have the following:

• Current HGV Class 1 licence with a maximum of 6 points.
• Current CPC card.
• Digital Tachograph driver card.
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• A positive, can do attitude.
• High attention to detail/excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit (some manual work may be involved).

The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

• Occasionally loading and unloading the vehicle.
• Ensuring goods are safely secured.
• Completing delivery paperwork.
• Dealing with customers face to face.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team.
• Keeping your vehicle in good condition.

Beneficial skills for the role:

• Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.

‼️ WE ARE HIRING: HGV MECHANIC ‼️

We are a well-established company looking to recruit a full-time HGV Mechanic to maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers at our workshop in Girvan.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

🔵 Routine servicing
🔵 Fault finding and repairs as required
🔵 MOT preparation

Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with flexitime available.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
