First Glasgow Moving the everyday in Glasgow & surrounding areas. See where the bus takes you. Part of First Bus. 🚌 Hello there, we're First Bus in Glasgow.

We're your local bus service, here to get you where you need to go - and more than just A to B. Buses bring people closer by helping society go about their day and opening up new experiences. We call it Moving the Everyday, because that's what we're here to do. Across the UK, over 1.4 million journeys are made with us every single day. Each double-decker bus can take up to 75 cars off the road, an

d reduce congestion and improving the air we all breathe. But, we're not stopping there. As one of the UK's largest bus operators and part of FirstGroup, we're making paying for travel simpler with 'Tap On, Tap Off' and working towards a fully zero-emission fleet by 2035 - creating better travel for people, communities and the environment. So, that's us in Glasgow. Thanks for letting us be part of your day. Got a question or need help? Visit our website - we're here to help.

We’ve been working hard to keep you moving this week, and appreciate your patience whilst we navigate road closures, and significant increases in demand of our services.

We’re pleased to let you know we’ve worked with Glasgow Subway to agree a ticket acceptance on board Glasgow Subway at both Cessnock, and Bridge Street stations. 📍

This will allow our passengers to hop off their service, and board the subway to reach Glasgow City Centre.

Head to our website for more details on ticket acceptance.

We’re working with ScotRail to help keep people in Glasgow moving today. While the situation near Glasgow Central continues, we’re here to help you get where you need to go as smoothly as possible.

If you have a physical, digital, or SmartCard rail ticket, you can hop on any of our buses from Newton, East Kilbride, Cathcart, and Paisley into the city at no extra cost.

Our thoughts are with the local businesses and everyone impacted by the fire, and we’d like to share our thanks to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for their quick response on the scene.

Safety remains our top priority, so please bear with us while we work to minimise disruptions.

Please check our website for the most up-to-date travel information and full diversion details before you head out.
