Full-time applicants will have a driving license and ideally experience driving a van.

The Green Move grove recently saw its tree count cross the 500 mark. As it turns out, there is no specific grove as such, but rather, the trees are planted throughout the Dundreggan Rewilding Estate which sits right next to Glenmoriston and can be seen in the photos attached, along with our supreme leader who, on a dreich summer's day, made the pilgrimage a couple of months back to see the fruits of the company's soon-to-be six years of labour.

Applicants of all backgrounds and genders are invited to apply. The position(s) can offer flexible working hours and will suit individuals looking for either part-time or full-time work.

Experience of driving a van is preferred but not essential and physical fitness is a must.

The salary is £12.50 per hour.

The Green Move team had their Christmas night out last weekend which, by all accounts, was an extremely pleasant and convivial evening. The gathering involved crew member both past and present. The food at Bungo was outstanding, the vibes at McNeills were warm (unlike the temperatures) and festive.

We'd like to thank all those who used our moving services for the past year. As the company goes from strength-to-strength, our grove up at the Dundreggan rewilding estate continues to expand monthly.

A home move from Westmoreland Street in Govanhill to North Yorkshire. Four sets of hands-on deck ensured the load up was complete in under an hour, leaving some time to get a few shots by our long standing friend, Don.

Upon hearing that a house move was taking place in her local neighbourhood, newest member of the Green Move team, 17-week-old Border Collie Golden Retriever cross, Coco, was eager to take a walk along and say hello to a couple of her friends. Not content with this, and being quite the attention seeker, the wee fluffball then insisted on getting in on the photo action.

Whilst Coco’s presence is relatively uncommon out on the field, she tends to join us on the occasional removal and never fails to bring a smile to even the most determinedly stoic of faces.

It’s been a while since our last update on the topic of our grove up at the Dundreggan rewilding estate, where the indefatigable efforts of the Trees for Life team and their volunteers continue to reforest the land by both expanding and reintroducing the various species that once called The Highlands home.

The Green Move grove - which we’ve been consistently adding to since 2019 - now numbers exactly 250 native trees.

In the two attached photos can be seen some Scots Pine seedlings in the Dundreggan nursery, as well as a volunteer taking a seedling and planting it in the wild.

For as long as people choose Green Move for their house removal needs, we will continue our monthly donations to what is one of the most exciting and successful rewilding projects happening anywhere. We remain optimistic that in the not-too-distant future we will see the reintroduction of the Eurasian Lynx and, hopefully, the Grey Wolf; for no ecosystem can truly thrive without the presence of the apex predators that are essential to maintaining balance.
