Five days at Bude RFC with our West Country friends from the Motor Caravanners Club… and somehow we’ve managed to survive! 😂🍻🍷
I say it every time we meet up with this lot, but we ALWAYS have an amazing time. What started as fellow motorhome-ers has turned into some very genuine and very close friendships - although I’m not sure that’s necessarily a good thing given the amount of nonsense we get up to! 🤣
The weather wasn’t always kind, so we had to take shelter from the rain a few times. Fortunately, there was an open rugby clubhouse onsite. What are the chances? 😂🍻🍷
We were also supposed to be swimming with seals and taking a boat trip to Lundy Island - my big birthday present from the kids earlier this year. 🦭⛵️ We were SO excited, but sadly the stormy weather had other ideas and the trip was cancelled. 🌊🌊 The kids are apparently cooking up an alternative plan, so watch this space…
Sadly, this is our last meet with this lovely lot for 2026 as we’re heading abroad and will miss their remaining get-togethers. But they haven’t got rid of us that easily - we’ll be back next spring for more laughs, adventures and questionable decisions! ❤️🚐
And why do I never take enough photos with this group? 🤔 I reckon I’m easily led and easily distracted. By the time I remember the camera, I’ve probably forgotten what I was doing! 🤣📸
