Still working our way through the 50+ Royal Marines uniforms collected at Thursday's ceremonial tailoring clinic 👀

Jeanette drew the short straw and started at 0500 this morning 😱

Meanwhile, I was living my best life at Take That in Southampton yesterday, so I've taken the late shift today!

Another sunset from the workshop window, another evening of recutting and reattaching collars. Only 10 left to go...

Ready for Ceremonial Divisions at HMS Collingwood today.

This customer booked an appointment online, told us what they needed and when they needed it for, came in for a fitting, and the work was completed in just one day.

Fresh medal ribbons, correctly positioned and ready to wear.

We hope Divisions went well today, and that everyone involved appreciated the breeze. We certainly noticed it from TTHQ and were glad it wasn't quite as hot as it could have been! ☀️

Today started with an 0800 ceremonial tailoring clinic, over an hour up the A3… and ended watching the sun go down from the workshop window.

Somewhere in between, over 50 Royal Marines uniforms arrived needing adjustments within 48 hours 👀

Safe to say it’s been a long day, and Jeanette and I are definitely running on caffeine and determination at this point 😅

But this is exactly what Tin Trousers was built for.

With the marina view through the workshop windows and the aircon working overtime, the team are definitely appreciating the new TTHQ on days like this ☀️
