UK ETA Requirement for Logistics and Drivers.

From 25 February 2026, visitors to the UK, including HGV drivers and other transport staff who currently travel without a visa, will need a valid Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before they travel. If they don’t, they could be refused entry to the UK.

This affects freight forwarders, shippers and hauliers planning UK import/export movement. An ETA is a digital authorisation, but it must be obtained in advance.

What you need to know:
• ETA must be approved before travel
• It’s valid for multiple trips
• Drivers without one could be denied travel

UK Sanctions List Update: Important for Trade and Compliance.

From 09:00 on Wednesday 28 January 2026, the UK Government will consolidate its sanctions regime into a single UK Sanctions List. The existing OFSI Consolidated List of Asset Freeze Targets will be closed, meaning businesses must now use the UK Sanctions List as the authoritative source for sanctions screening and compliance.
