🚐 Van Park update (Android) + Pro Trial starts Monday!

Hey everyone — quick update on what’s coming next 👇

✅ Android release push (USA + Canada + UK)
I’m finishing final testing tonight and aiming to release this week on Android.

⭐ Van Park Pro launches Monday
To help support development (and keep the app improving), Pro will be:

UK: £1.49/month
USA & Canada: $3.99/month
🎁 14-Day FREE Trial (starts Monday — limited promo)

New users who sign up in the first 5 days from Monday will get 14 days of Pro for free so you can try everything with zero risk.

After that, you can cancel anytime if it’s not for you.

🗺️ Better spots, less spam
I’m starting a fresh data campaign — focusing only on high-quality parking spots with real info like:

height restrictions
enforcement
max stay / overnight rules
(If a spot doesn’t have enough detail, it won’t make the “best spots” list.)

🍏 Apple/iPhone release delay iOS will be a bit later — aiming around 5th March 2026.
I’m holding off paying the Apple developer fee until I see solid interest from Android users in the USA & Canada first.

🚛 Coming next (separate app idea) I’m also working on a truckers route planner + overnight parking app for long journeys (stops along the way, safe overnight spots, etc).

It’ll use the best parts of Van Park, but focused more on planning than just the map.

🚐 VanPark UK – Update incoming! (Please read + quick question 👇)

Afternoon everyone!

I’ve pushed a new update to VanPark UK with a bunch of improvements to make spots clearer and the app easier to use day-to-day:

✅ Cleaner Spot Detail layout (info is easier to read)
✅ Better spot info consistency (what you add when suggesting a spot should show properly on the spot page)
✅ More useful spot details (things like limits / enforcement-style info showing more reliably)
✅ General polish + stability fixes so it feels smoother

Quick question for you lot:
Would you want the ability to add a photo to a spot (like a quick snap of the parking area / entrance / signage), so you can instantly tell if it’s legit?

If yes — what would you prefer?
📸 Option A: 1 photo per spot (simple + tidy)

📸 Option B: Up to 3–5 photos per spot (more detail)

📸 Option C: Photos only for “verified” spots
Drop a comment with A / B / C (or your own idea).

Also if you’ve got any “must have” info you want on Spot Detail, tell me — I’m building this around what real users actually need. 🙌

🚐✨ VanPark UK update lands tomorrow!

We’ve got a nice one coming — a visual refresh to spots with cleaner graphics, easier-to-read icons, and an overall smoother look on the map.

We’re also expanding spot details with more useful facility tags, including:

🚻 Toilets
🧪 Chemical waste / disposal points
💧 Water fill-up (where available)
…and more to make planning stops way easier.
