How’s this for a glimpse of cruising in Scotland? Thank you to Captain Ken Bracewell and his very talented First Mate Nick who grabbed this epic shot going through the pass at the Burnt Isles at the top of Bute. Even when it rains, it’s pretty spectacular.

Superyachting Scotland is proud to provide the best services possible to visiting yachts. We’ve been there and done it (and are still doing it) onboard, so we know what the expectation is. We are also local and want to be able to put some business back into the local communities. At every opportunity we try and showcase local suppliers and this week we think we nailed it. We recommended Studio Flowers to the chief stew onboard Berilda who was very complimentary of the flowers they received. The chef we sent to McCaskie’s for some superb cuts which also received brilliant feedback. Local piper John Macleod gave them a traditional send off piping them out and this week we are creating something special with The Whisky Room, and that’s only week 1! Wherever we are, we strive to keep it local while maintaining superyacht standards. We are happy to provide the complete service or simply put you in touch with the services you require.

Well it’s been a busy last week for us up here with saying hello to return visitors Scout, saying goodbye to first time visitors Norn and welcoming Berilda and Gitana. We are looking forward to seeing Samadhi stopping by also. The yachting industry is small and more than likely we have a connection with someone onboard so it’s lovely when old faces pop by to say hello!

As May draws to a close we are pleased to say it’s been the busiest start to the year. The weather hasn’t disappointed and the summer is already off to a great start with 4 yachts stopping in or cruising, and more to come through June, July and August.

We’ve had multiple enquiries over the winter and it’s looking like it’s going to be an even busier summer for Scotland with visiting Superyachts.
