CRHU Update

After much consideration, we’ve made the decision to close our chandlery shop at Rhu Marina due to a difficult year of sales.

This hasn’t been an easy choice, but it will allow us to focus our efforts on the areas of the business that continue to grow and serve our customers best — namely our Rigging, SeaDek and Keelcrab services, which are all operating as normal.

While the chandlery shop is now closed, we’re still very happy to supply chandlery items on an order-only basis. If you need something specific, just get in touch and we’ll be glad to help.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the chandlery over the years, your loyalty and encouragement have meant the world to us. We look forward to continuing to work with you on all things rigging, decking, and maintenance

What a transformation.

This Colvic Suncruiser 37 has been fully refurbished to a high standard by her new owner. The installation of the Moca over Black Seadek throughout was the icing on the cake. The CRHU owner Kevin was recently at the Volvo Dun Laoghaire over in Dublin, Ireland on board Charlie Frize’s well prepared Corby 33 “Banshee” racing in the IRC Coastal Class finishing 9th out of 24 boats in class overall! Great work by the team!

Don’t forget that CRHU Chandlery have a great stock of Marlow Ropes, Harken, SeaDek and many more. Pop into the shop at Rhu Marina where Kevin and team will be glad to assist you!

Welcome to the new page for CRHU Rigging & Chandlery.

Kevin McGechie has taken over the business from former owner James Urquhart and we are currently continuing to serve all our loyal customers across the Firth of Clyde and beyond from our well stocked Chandlery at Rhu Marina and soon to be opened new chandlery from James Watt Dock Marina.

We continue as in the past to offer a wide extensive range of rigging services as well as being local reps for high quality products such as Marlow Ropes Harken SeaDek & KeelCrab of which the two latter products are what we are especially proud off.

Over the weeks and months, we will ensure to try and regularly monitor and post updates on this page of what we are up to, new products in stock and any exciting developments.

Our staff on site will always be on hand to welcome you at our chandlery or on board your boat whenever you need us. If you have any questions, just give us a call or drop in and say hi.
