Crane out season is almost here! ⛵

Our crane-out season starts this week and our diary is already beginning to fill up. If you’re planning to bring your boat ashore for the winter, now is the time to get your date booked.

It has been a busy summer for our Yard Team!

Alongside Simeon, our Yard Manager, both Luke and Duncan successfully completed their crane driver training, passing with flying colours.

With three fully trained crane drivers now on the team, we have even greater flexibility and more capacity to keep things running smoothly.

A fantastic achievement - well done to Luke, Duncan and Simeon!

Looking for somewhere local to get your washing done?

Our self-service launderette is open to the public seven days a week for household laundry. Contactless and cash payments accepted, and Sula Brunch House is right next door for a coffee/cake/lunch while you wait.

A self-service launderette in Gweek, Helston, open seven days a week. Large capacity washing machines and dryers for domestic laundry. Free on-site parking, on-site cafe, card and cash accepted.

FOR SALE: Residential Mooring

A residential mooring at Gweek Classic Boatyard to facilitate a flat bottomed, widebeam barge. Limited spaces available – please contact the office to discuss size of mooring available.

Provision of water, electricity and black waste pump out station.

The mooring is available for a fixed 12 year term lease, for a cost of £25,000 payable prior to the commencement of services regardless of length, rent is payable on LOA @ £6.92 per meter, per week. Electricity and pump out are charged separately.

We have new availability for a Residential Mooring to facilitate a flat bottomed, widebeam barge up to 14mtr LOA. This mooring would be alongside our quay wall, with provision of water, electricity and black waste pump out station.

There are still a few spaces left on tomorrow's canoe and paddle board trip on the Helford with Immerse Outdoors (moved from today to tomorrow Wednesday 12th August). 15:15 - 18:15.

*Hosepipe ban in effect from Saturday 8th August*

Due to the current drought conditions, South West Water will be implementing a hosepipe ban from this Saturday 8th August.

While the restrictions are in place, boat owners with vessels stored at the yard must not use hosepipes supplied from our water points for personal use. This includes washing down boats, decks or other personal equipment using a hosepipe.

You are welcome to use water responsibly for essential purposes, such as filling your boat’s fresh water tanks.

If you believe you have an essential requirement to use a hosepipe, please contact the office before doing so. As a business, we may be able to assist where an exemption applies, and we will be happy to discuss your circumstances and advise accordingly.
