It’s been a busy few days at our Goole Heavy Lift Depot, welcoming representatives from Goldhofer Transport and TII Scheuerle as we prepare both blade lifter trailers ahead of their deployment at Sanquhar II Wind Farm.

We'd like to thank Erwin and Daniel for spending time with the team and sharing their knowledge and expertise during the visit.

Keep an eye out for future updates as the blade lifters begin operations on the wind farm project.

Collett has successfully delivered an 89.9 Tonne Hyosung transformer to National Grid’s Bicker Fen Substation using a specialist bridge over bridge system to overcome major route constraints.

The complex operation involved RoRo sea freight, abnormal load transport, temporary access works and precision jacking and skidding techniques, with one of the biggest engineering challenges coming just 0.6 miles from site where a bridge with a 3 Tonne load limit stood along the delivery route.

More shots from Windy Standard III Wind Farm.

Phase A deliveries are now complete, marking a major milestone for the wind farm development, with 8 of the 20 turbines now successfully transported to site.

The project now moves into Phase B, with a further 12 Enercon E138 turbines scheduled for transport later this year.

Tower deliveries in action for Windy Standard III Wind Farm!

A major milestone for the renewable energy project, with nearly all Phase A components now successfully transported to site. Operations commenced in March, with tower sections delivered from KGV Dock, Glasgow, and the remaining turbine components transported from the Port of Ayr.

Phase A focused on the southerTn section of the development, comprising eight Enercon E115 turbines. This week marks the completion of the final deliveries for the phase, bringing the total to 88 components delivered so far across the project.

The project now moves into Phase B, scheduled to start later this year, which will see a further 156 components transported for the installation of 12 Enercon E138 turbines.

Well done to our team of experts and all project partners across the planning, delivery coordination and on-site operations, working together to keep the programme moving safely and efficiently throughout.

As the 2025/26 snooker season comes to a close, we want to give a big shoutout to our man Stan Moody for another outstanding year.

This season has seen Stan continue his rise through the professional ranks, breaking into the world’s top 40, reaching quarter-finals at both the Wuhan Open and British Open and becoming the first British teenager since Judd Trump in 2007 to qualify for the Crucible.

His World Championship debut was another standout moment, pushing one of the sport’s biggest names, Kyren Wilson, all the way after leading 7–3 in a brilliant performance on snooker’s biggest stage.

Since we first started sponsoring Stan back in 2021, it’s been a pleasure to watch his journey and see his hard work continue to pay off season after season.

We’re proud to support him and excited to see what next season brings. Well done, Stan!
