SATURDAY - Static display day -
No public trains will be running on the big railway
- museum viewing and static trains.
Only the miniature railway will be running
Although, there may be some shunting going on.

SUNDAY - 2 RAILWAYS DAY
A heritage locomotive will be running on the big railway
either with vintage carriages or open wagons.
The miniature railway will be running Side-by-side
so we may even get a train race!

✅ It rained, and we were here for it!

🚅 Thanks to those who braved the waves of rain with us
and saw the HST from up close!

🌦️ The forecast isn't looking great,
but we're all about positivity here
we won't let this dampen our spirits!

🚅 Parallel running (train race) opportunities!

☔ We will carry on running in the wet.
You may look like you've just ridden
a theme park log flume by the end though!
We'll only stop if we absolutely must.
If you want a ride, we've got you!

The preparations are done, the buffet is stocked. The first job for the morning is to bake the scones and then start the powercars.

We've got air conditioned first class open to all, hot and cold food, cakes, drinks, charging sockets, colouring in, cab rides and more.

We also have Andy Coward joining us all day hosting a book signing for his new book ‘HST in the Fifth Decade’, he will be right next to the buffet.

The Colne Valley Miniature Railway will be open too and this will offer some great views of the main set as the run parallel and also offer views of 43071
