Where can a helicopter actually land? It’s a question we get every day.

The answer is almost anywhere, with the right permission and a safe patch of ground.

The question everyone wants to ask. How much does a private charter actually cost?

There are always variables that affect price, which is why we ask you questions up front and quote on actual requirements, not generalisations. But for some rough

figures, a typical helicopter flight for up to five passengers within the UK starts from around £2,000–£3,000. London to the Cotswolds, roughly £2,500. London to Edinburgh: around £6,000–£7,000. A day charter covering multiple stops will depend on the routing and aircraft.

Split between four or five people, it's often comparable to first-class rail once you factor in the taxis, the time, and the overnight hotel you no longer need.
