🛳 There’s something rather special making its way towards the haven tomorrow...

Due to arrive on Wednesday 19 August at around 3pm, OOCL WISDOM is a brand-new container vessel with some seriously impressive numbers behind her.

At 399.99 metres long and 61.3 metres wide, she can carry up to 24,168 TEU and has a deadweight of 225,000 tonnes.

To put that into perspective, her deck is roughly the size of 3.5 standard football pitches, while her fully loaded height is comparable to a 22-storey residential building. 🤯

🌱 But it’s not just her size that makes OOCL WISDOM special. She’s the first of a new seven-vessel series and currently the world’s largest methanol dual-fuel container vessel.

⚓ With methanol-powered systems and advanced energy-efficiency technology on board, she represents a new step towards lower-carbon shipping.

📸 So, when this 400-metre giant comes into the Haven, there should be plenty to see from the shoreline.
