Some views never really go out of fashion...

Looking back towards Haworth Station in the early 1900s, with a train approaching and The Royal Oak already sitting over the road. More than a century later, it’s a view that still feels very familiar!

And yes, you can still pop across the road for a pint today...

The Royal Oak is open:

Tuesday – Thursday | 17:00–22:00
Friday | 15:00–23:00
Saturday | 12:00–23:00
Sunday | 12:00–22:30

Over 100 years on, trains and a pub over the road — some things are best left unchanged.

🚂 Throwback Thursday🚂

A distant memory, looking down on the Great Northern Junction Signal Box between Keighley & Ingrow West, where the Great Northern Line from Queensbury joined the Worth Valley Line from Oxenhope.

41273 with a service train from Oxenhope to Keighley, captured in March 1958 by Peter Sunderland.
