Been busy over the last couple of days! 💪

We’ve been clearing out a cellar and the side of a property for one of our regular property developers, getting everything cleared and ready for the next stage of the renovation.

We then headed over to another regular customer to remove the last remaining bits from the outhouse before handing the keys back tomorrow.

It’s always great to leave a job knowing everything is cleared, tidy, and ready for what’s next. 😊

Back to one of our regular builders today! 👷‍♂️

Three tonne bags of plasterboard and insulation, along with wood and other building waste, all collected and taken away today. ♻️

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a proper before photo, so I’ve had to use a picture from before everything was moved off the neighbour’s drive! 🤦🏼‍♀️📸

Another job completed, the area left clear and as tidy as we can ready for the grabber to come get the rest. However another happy customer. 😊

4 jobs completed over the last couple of days! 💪

Job 1 – Back to one of our regular customers who has a section of her garden cleared every month to help keep on top of things. 🌿

Job 2 – Another regular customer who just needed a few bags collected and disposed of. ♻️

Job 3 – A regular business customer who renovates houses for a living. We collected and disposed of old carpets and other renovation waste to help keep the project moving forward. 🏠🔨

Today’s job – Back to another regular customer (unfortunately we forgot to take photos! 📸🙈) who needed her bin area and the side of the house cleared and tidied up. 😊

Jobs like these always make me incredibly sad. Looking at the rooms both full and empty, I can’t help but think about all the memories made within those walls – the Christmases, the birthdays, the laughter, the tears, the happy moments, and the grief that was carried through difficult times.

To many, it’s just a house clearance. But to me, it’s so much more than that. It’s the closing of a chapter. A home built on love, family, and memories, carefully packed away piece by piece.

Every item tells a story, and every empty room is a reminder that a life was lived there. It’s a privilege to help families through what is often a difficult and emotional time, treating every home and every memory with the respect they deserve.

It was also a privilege to be able to donate some of the items to the Air Ambulance Charity and other local charities, knowing that things which once meant so much to one family can now go on to help others and create new stories of their own.

With everything removed, hoovered, and cleaned up, the house is now ready for its next chapter.

Job 1 was for a new customer who wanted us to remove some gravel and concrete bits.

Job 2 was for a regular customer who had a sort out and needed everything cleared and out of the way.

Job 3 was for a new customer and old friend who needed her garden cleared ready for a summer garden revamp ☀️

Yes, it was hot 🔥
Yes, it was Bank Holiday 😊
