Wishing our followers a great bank holiday weekend whatever plans you have…

We have a busy weekend with providing buses for rail services, feeders and also our first venture abroad.

HN71 USH is spending a few days in Eindhoven with a stag group.

LT59 VCN will be based in Stevenage covering rail replacement services all weekend before she heads off to new owners on Wednesday.

YE18 CWZ will be busy on feeder work Sunday morning.

WB05 BUS & WB06 BUS will be on rail replacement services locally in Sussex late Sunday evening.

And they say August bank holiday is generally quiet for the bus and coach industry!

Another crazy weekend for team Wealden this weekend.
After the very unfortunate rail incident at Lewes on Thursday, our guys have jumped in to help with moving stranded passengers right throughout this weekend.
Due to the Lewes derailment GTR Southern and rail track staff have had to be extremely cautious right across the rail network to ensure the welfare and safety of passengers.
With more reports of rails possibly struggling with the intense heat over the last few days, many other lines have been closed, meaning that buses from all over Sussex and beyond have been called in to assist with ensuring stranded passengers reach their destinations.
We have covered Lewes - Haywards Heath, Lewes - Polegate, Uckfield - Oxted.
Along with serving Billingshurst - Three Bridges for pre planned rail network maintenance.
As well as continuing our private hire operations with hen parties and beer festival trips, it truly has been challenging.
Our huge thanks go out to our wonderful team for accepting the challenges faced, and for just getting on with it with positivity and a smiley attitude.
You are the best!
We wish all those injured and affected in Thursdays Lewes incident a speedy recovery, and a thank you to all those that travelled with us over the last few days for your patience and understanding that we were doing our utmost to get you from A to B as quickly and effectively as possible.
