The Helston Railway volunteers have worked wonders since work started in April 2005. Starting with a totally overgrown, and in some places impenetrable track bed, the team has cleared in excess of 1.5 miles of trackbed so far. With a mile and a quarter of track has laid and trains operating over a mile of that distance. Starting at Trevarno Farm travelling South through Trevarno Station and onwards to a lovingly restored platform at Truthall Halt.
