Two bikes I bought when my Dear father Murray was alive..we both had much enjoyment from them :-)

The Black one with twin headlights has been exchanged for a 2016 Yamaha R125 at Moores Hemel Hempstead. The T100 is up for sale on Ebay now.

(Only 1700 miles from new. Fitted with Triumph screen at the dealers. much appreciated Triumph fans ;-). near Junction 8 M1. | eBay!

From thoughts to actuality..Plans for this year and how to achieve them.

It is two months now since my last post.

My travels have as usual allowed me to meet some great people and discuss many varied plans they have and often I have been able to assist in some way..and they have helped me too.

Jed over in the Philippines is I am pleased to say getting on well with his business with some financial help from us for tools and some cash to keep his business running and household bills paid. His welder and grinder packed up which rather left him in the lurch with so much work requiring them.

He now has a brand new Arc Welder and angle grinder and is working on all kinds of interesting jobs. A steel cage to enclose a water pump from a well and restoring a Honda Motorcycle's sidecar which is a popular form of transport there.

Locally the Town of Hemel Hempstead is certainly starting to flourish as a lot of municipal and other buildings have been and are being built. The water Gardens which had become rather tired since the early 1960's have had a spectacular revamp with funding from the National Lottery Fund :-). We have been enjoying them most evenings walking the Dog and it really is an uplifting experience.

Another thing that has caught my attention is that young people are starting to take up apprenticeships in bigger numbers and go to college. This is partly because of a Govt. initiative and because the School leaving age here is 18 unless you are in College or in an apprenticeship.

Those of us who have been there so to speak know that between 16 and 21 if you put the effort in it will reap rewards later on..money might be tight for that period but it gets much better later on.

Every penny you spend on Education will certainly help you in life correct?

Remember also that Socrates claimed to know nothing and Newton only a drop..so however much you think you know there is always much to learn :-)
