Fancy putting your general knowledge to the test while cruising the Thames? 🚢

Join us aboard The New Orleans on Thursday 10 September for our Charity Quiz Night in aid of Parkinson’s UK.

Expect a fun evening on the river with a cash bar, pasties in the interval and a raffle all hosted by quiz master Jon Motler.

🌊 The River Summit & Festival is coming to Henley!

We’re delighted to be supporting and attending this brilliant two-day event on 4th & 5th September, all centred around something very close to our hearts here at Hobbs - the future of our rivers. 💙

Friday brings The River Summit to Henley Town Hall, followed by the Rivers of Film Festival in the evening.

Then on Saturday 5th September, everyone is invited to a FREE Community Day at Mill Meadows from 10am–2.30pm a great opportunity to come along, get involved and find out more about the work being done to protect our rivers.

As a family business that has spent over 155 years on the Thames, we’re very proud to be supporting an event like this right here in Henley.

☀️ There’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy…

The school holidays are in full swing and, with the sun still shining, it’s the perfect excuse to slow things down, cool down and enjoy a few hours on the river.

Pack a picnic, bring the family, invite some friends (and don’t forget the dog 🐾) and simply enjoy being out on the Thames in the sunshine. 🛥️☀️

🎶 TWO WEEKS TO GO!🕺

The countdown to Rewind Festival 2026 is officially ON! In just two weeks, Temple Island Meadows will be filled with big tunes, big hair and plenty of 80s nostalgia. 🎸✨

And if you’re heading to Rewind, why walk when you can arrive by river? 🚤

Hobbs of Henley will once again be running the official Rewind River Taxis, taking festival-goers to and from the festival site throughout the weekend.

📍 Pick-ups from Henley Town Centre, plus services from Fawley Meadows and Greenlands at selected times
🚤 Regular boats throughout the weekend
