✈️ Night works underway at Stansted Airport

Tonight, myself and two of our teams are spraying the fascia above the security and X-ray machines. With strict security protocols and a very limited time window, this project has required careful planning and ex*****on.

We’re now at the halfway mark, with a scheduled clean-up at 1am and full handover of the area by 2am. Every detail has been considered to ensure minimal disruption, maximum efficiency, and – most importantly – safety.

For this project, we’re using a water-based coating system, chosen specifically to prioritise the wellbeing of airport staff and the travelling public, given the restricted extraction options in the working zone.

Another example of how planning, precision, and the right products make all the difference in sensitive live environments.

Case Study – Curtain Walling Respray

We were instructed by a valued repeat client to carry out curtain walling respray works as part of a comprehensive building refurbishment project.

Our team expertly prepared, masked, and resprayed the external curtain walling using a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP). The application was performed using HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray systems to ensure a smooth and professional-grade finish throughout.

Outcome

The results speak for themselves—this transformation has given the building a refreshed, modern façade. Not only does the new coating dramatically improve aesthetics, it also provides long-lasting protection. The anti-corrosive and UV-resistant properties of the coating safeguard the substrate and help prevent fading for up to 20 years.

CASE STUDY: UPVC Window Spraying – Domestic Project in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Overview:

When a friend of a friend reached out to see if we could help with spraying their windows, we were more than happy to assist. While the majority of our projects are large-scale commercial or industrial works, we always aim to support smaller domestic jobs when possible—especially when it’s through word of mouth and recommendation.

Project Requirements:

The client had recently completed an extension to the rear of their property, fitting brand new windows in a specific colour. They wanted the existing UPVC windows at the front and side of the house to be resprayed to match for a consistent, modern finish across the whole property.

Our Approach:

Having our own access equipment made the job smooth and efficient, avoiding the need for third-party hire and allowing us to complete the work swiftly. As with all our spraying projects, surface preparation and attention to detail were key to ensuring a seamless, factory-like finish.

Result:

The transformation was spot on. All front and side UPVC windows were resprayed to match the new rear installations, tying the full property together with a clean, uniform appearance. The client was over the moon with the end result.
