British Airways has launched a new route from London Gatwick to Chania, on the stunning island of Crete. 🇬🇷

Operating Wednesdays and Sundays from the South Terminal, this service adds early morning departures to the existing easyJet flights on the route, giving you even more flexibility for your Aegean escape.

Set on Crete’s northwest coast, Chania is a gateway to some of Greece’s most spectacular scenery. Take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of Balos Lagoon and Elafonissi Beach, trek through the dramatic Samaria Gorge, or wander the charming, romance-filled lanes of its Venetian Old Town.

By the time we reach summer we will have welcomed nine new airlines to London Gatwick, with five of these already here!

Since March we’ve welcomed Jet2 🇬🇧, Air France 🇫🇷, AnimaWings 🇷🇴, Eurowings 🇩🇪 and Condor 🇩🇪, helping us to unlock new destinations, provide greater route availability and expand choice for your escapes.

We’re not done yet, by the time we reach our peak summer season we will have welcomed a total of nine new airlines including Air Arabia 🇦🇪, Beijing Capital Airlines 🇨🇳, Pegasus 🇹🇷 and AirAsia X 🇲🇾

We’re pleased to welcome more Eurowings flights to London Gatwick!

After beginning operations here in March with flights to Cologne, the german airline has now launched a new six‑times‑weekly service to Stuttgart 🇩🇪

With 19 weekly flights to Germany and more than 230 routes available this summer, plus nine new airlines joining us, our connectivity keeps getting stronger.
