Nothing beats the adrenaline rush more than letting go of the piano as the crane safely takes the weight.
It’s a job we have done a thousand times before, and we love it 🙂

We love using our Mini Spider crane. It make the job a lot easier and safer. Even though this was just a ground floor window removal, then take out an upright and a baby grand, the crane made it easier to lift the instruments out safely and without damage.

Well at last. The weather is a few degrees cooler, 31° C today against yesterday‘s 39°. And the Pianos have started to get smaller and the jobs slightly easier.

This business is so unpredictable. Grand piano sales have been slow for months, then all of a sudden we start to move them again. But not small grands, huge ones! We have moved more concert grands this month than we have all year.
Any way, this little move in London involved a Yamaha S7 concert grand, which really was too big for the space in this flat. So it was replaced with a more modest but powerful Steinway Model K.
