What a week it's been! 💪☀️

Despite the soaring temperatures and a few unavoidable delays, our team has worked incredibly hard to keep every move on track. Travelling far and wide, we've completed countless steps each day while carrying everything from big and small boxes to some truly unique pieces of furniture.

Ok so we’ve been doing this for a very long time so I can assure you we definitely know what we’re doing, unlike your incompetent estate agents and solicitors that give you no notice when you’re moving and 9/10 jobs exchanging the same week there completing, absolute madness, and if that is not enough for you we then get keys after 4pm, now I know a lot of people finish work at 5pm and I can assure you to offload a truck or more takes many hours so we more often than not finish late, this makes it very hard for staff as many of are staff have families and life’s outside of work but will always prioritize doing a good job, all while solicitors and agents are enjoying the dinner with families, while are crews are still working, I don’t even know why the crews don’t go and work elsewhere and have a better quality work life balance because doing removals definitely doesn’t create it.

Any one that knows me I am a man of my word, very old school, I’m very relaxed when it comes to payments etc, even when we send a quote we are very clear on any extra charges that may occur due to incompetence in the chain by who ever, this is sent across in writing and isn’t hidden in terms and conditions and is made crystal clear prior to acceptance of the quotation we provide, yet what seems to be the new normality soon as we send a key wait invoice if they haven’t selected the waiver nearly straight away we get oh but we’re missing a box, have a mark on a wall or other, but I’m 100 percent sure that if we had not sent that invoice then there would be no such email apart from thank you for your help.

As it stands we find 5 trucks, 5 vans with are own storage facilities, just to keep us flexible enough to be able to accommodate your move when where given less than 48 hours notices and the move is complex, now I’m not going to bore anyone with any standing cost of the operation but you must be insane to either run a removals company or to work for one.

All the years and all the money we continually re invest, we don’t have fancy cars, fancy holidays, fancy house, we are just normal modest family, but when is enough enough?
