Loch Ness Cruises Join us on a unique trip around Loch Ness without the crowds

04/06/2026

We were on the water tonight with Castle Cruises supporting RNLI Loch Ness as they trained with the search and rescue helicopter 🚁🚤

Loch Ness receives hundreds of thousands of visitors each year and we’re very grateful to have volunteers who give up their time to keep everyone safe 🤩

One of the best parts of welcoming guests for multi-day stays is helping them discover the incredible local people behind the businesses that make this area unforgettable.

Today we’re shining a light on Mike from Loch Ness Cruises 🛥️ 🌊

Mike has spent years sharing the beauty, history, and mystery of Loch Ness with visitors from all over the world. His passion for the loch, local storytelling, and creating memorable experiences is exactly why supporting local businesses matters so much. Every booking helps sustain real people, real families, and the character of our communities.

When guests choose local:

✨ More money stays within the community
✨ Independent businesses continue to thrive
✨ Visitors get the Highlands - authentically
✨ Local knowledge and hospitality are preserved for future generations.

We’d love to continue building our customer portal with brilliant local recommendations for guests staying a little longer in the area.

👇 Share your favourite local businesses, hidden gems, experiences, cafés, makers, tours, or ventures below — and we’ll keep adding them to our growing local recommendations list for future visitors.

Let’s celebrate the people who make this place special. Together we are better. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We’ve also got an indoor heated cabin that’s got plenty of seating for all passengers as well, just in case the weather goes a bit Scottish… 🔥

What’s beneath the dark surface of Loch Ness? 🧐

With out new boat, we think you might find out! We decided to invest in Garmin’s latest sonar system and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed 👀

We’ve got:
Traditional (best for seeing fish/ monsters swimming around)
Clearvu (gives a near photographic display of the bottom beneath the boat, even at 232m)
SideVu (casts the sonar either side of the boat so there’s no hiding!)

Whether you’re looking for monsters or are wondering what the bottom of Loch Ness looks like, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed when you book a trip! 🤩
