Well, what can we say about Authors on the Orwell…!

The sun shone, Nicci and Sean (Nicci French) were very interesting and shared so much about their writing, we had cream teas and the river was beautiful.

Join us on Sunday 31 May to hear from the writing partnership of Nicci French - journalists Nicci Gerrard and Sean French. Authors of psychological thrillers and crime fiction we will hear about their unique writing technique, as well as their latest book What Happened That Night.

There will also be plenty of time to mingle, ask questions and have books signed. We are delighted to be joined on board by Dial Lane Books 🥰

A few shots from today’s river trip with Suffolk Wildlife Trust We saw so many wonderful birds, including Oystercatchers, Cormorants, Little Egret, a flock of Dunlin, Brent geese and Peregrine Falcons. We also heard about how the ecology of salt marshes, mud flats and sandbanks impact our wildlife. And - perhaps not surprisingly - there was a sighting of a Common Seal.
