Loane Transport Ltd is looking for a Transport Manager to join our growing team on site in Kesh, Co. Fermanagh.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee daily transport operations across.
Manage drivers, schedules, and route planning to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant transport legislation, including driver hours, tachographs, and health & safety regulations.
Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fleet utilization.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and professional service delivery.
Handle any operational issues, delays, or incidents in a proactive and solution-focused manner.
CPC in Transport Management Desirable.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience in the transport/haulage industry preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills

Irvinestown truck festival 2025 was a great success . George, Jimmy and myself were proud to hand over a cheque to sheena havlin from Marie Curie - Northern Ireland for £22305.00. On behalf of all the truckers and supporters on the day. This magnificent sum is down to the support of the truck drivers and truck companies which we really appreciate. The dates this year 2026 is the 17th to 19th July . We hope to see you all back again for a worthy cause.

We were very saddened this week to hear of the passing of our former colleague Bridie Maguire, who worked in our office for an incredible 40 years, up until her retirement.

Bridie was a huge part of the Loane Transport family for many decades. Bridie was someone many drivers, staff and customers will remember fondly.

Those who worked alongside Bridie will always remember her kindness, loyalty and the pride she took in her work. She was a familiar and welcoming presence in the office for generations of staff and drivers who passed through our doors.

On behalf of everyone at Loane Transport Ltd, past and present, we extend our deepest sympathies to Bridie’s family and friends at this very sad time.

May she rest in peace.

Bitta history in this foto, loads sent all over Europe. Millions of miles covered an a locka lies told. Proud to say I was part of it. Had to write the names on the back of the foto for future generations. Spose if we told the next generation how it was done, they wouldn’t believe us . . .

It is with great sadness to hear the news of the passing of Steve Reddey, a former driver with Loane Transport who remained a close and valued friend to us all.

Steve will be fondly remembered for the kindness, humour, and friendship he brought to those around him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s family and friends at this difficult time. Rest in Peace Big Red.
