Scrap Collections

Due to circumstances outwith our control, we are currently unable to collect any scrap. This includes scrap cars.

We will not be able to take on any more scrap bookings until bookings that have currently been made are completed.
Scrap bookings already made with us will be prioritised when scrap collections resume.

We are currently looking at all alternative options.

Dear Customers,

We are writing to inform you of an important change to our pricing, effective from Monday 6th April 2026.

In common with many businesses in the transport sector, Sinclair Haulage has been absorbing the rising cost of fuel over recent months in order to keep our prices as stable as possible for you. However, fuel prices have now risen above £1.50 per litre, and we are unfortunately no longer in a position to continue absorbing these increases.

From Monday 6th April, a fuel surcharge will be applied to all work carried out by Sinclair Haulage. The surcharge is calculated as follows:

For every 5% that the fuel price exceeds our base rate of £1.50 per litre, a 1% surcharge will be added to your invoice.

We want to reassure you that this surcharge is not a permanent change to our pricing. If and when fuel prices return to £1.50 per litre or below, the surcharge will be removed in full.
