Class 1 HGV Driver – Stepframe Low Loader (Plant & Machinery)
UK & European Work | Average Earnings £50,000 per year
We're looking for an experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Driver to join our team operating a stepframe trailer, transporting plant and machinery throughout the UK and Europe.
This isn't your typical driving job. If you're looking to simply reverse onto a bay, wait to be unloaded and drive home every night, this role probably isn't for you.
We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and can think for themselves when faced with new challenges.
The Role
Operating a Class 1 articulated vehicle with a stepframe trailer.
Loading, securing and transporting a wide range of plant and machinery.
UK and European work.
Monday to Friday with the odd weekend shift
Average of 4 nights away per week
Working with customers on-site to safely load and unload equipment.
What You'll Need
Class 1 (CE) licence.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of load security (experience with plant transport is preferred but not essential for the right person).
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Passport and ability to travel in Europe.

Are confident working independently.
Take pride in presenting your vehicle and equipment.
Have excellent attention to detail when loading and securing machinery.
