It is important for consumers to be aware that some companies may prioritize profit over genuine customer assistance, potentially leading to unnecessary expenses.

To mitigate such issues, I recommend that individuals consider contacting local, independent garages. Many reputable local establishments offer transparent services, and some even provide photographic documentation of work performed, offering both the customer and the garage peace of mind.

Therefore, prior to scheduling services through online platforms, I advise utilizing search engines to identify and contact local garages. They are often willing to provide competitive pricing and personalized discounts.

Ford transit custom was brought in for an engine replacement due to common issues observed in 2.2 Euro 5 engines, specifically worn piston rings and a cracked cylinder head.

Following the successful installation of a new engine, the vehicle has been returned to the customer to minimize downtime and facilitate their operational needs.

An Astra GSI was brought to us with reports of rough running, misfiring, over-fueling, and insufficient boost.

Diagnostic procedures identified the following issues:
* Faulty knock sensor
* Injector wiring discrepancies
* Throttle body malfunctions
* Boost sensor fault
* leaking rocker cover gasket

Through a systematic process of fault isolation and resolution, we have successfully restored the GSI to smooth operation with optimal boost.

We are actively seeking experienced recovery driver with a valid 7.5 tonne (7.5T) CLASS 2 OR 1 is a great benefit and CPC certification to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on, on-the-road role dealing with emergency breakdowns, car recovery, and vehicle transportation for a variety of clients.

Please note: Recovery experience is essential. Applications without relevant recovery background
May be considered

Key Responsibilities

Recover and transport broken down or accident-damaged vehicles
Respond to roadside emergencies
Load and secure vehicles using recovery equipment
Carry out supercar and prestige vehicle transport
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Maintain accurate job reports and logs
Required Skills & Experience

Proven vehicle recovery experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
Valid 7.5T (C1) driving licence
Valid CPC Card and tacho card
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Flexible, reliable, and available for short-notice shifts or overtime
Well-presented with a professional attitude
Desirable

Experience with supercar recovery or classic car transport
Mechanical knowledge
Knowledge of Hiab/flatbed operation (advantageous but not essential)
Familiarity with DVLA impound releases, mobile tyre fitting, or mis-fuel assistance
